As you can see from the heading this site has two totally different facets.  One is my interest in birds and wildlife rehabilitation, the other is my love of Ballroom Dancing.  Both occupy a very important place in my heart so it is difficult to separate them.

If you are visiting for the first time, the site takes two separate paths, and will only travel along one path unless returning to the common or home page.  This is so that visitors to the site can access their particular interest easily.  If, like me, you happen to have and interest in both, return to the top of the ladder and you will be able to explore that line.

I would ask that if you are a wildlife carer and wish to use the information that I have compiled for you here, please either use it only for your personal use, or reproduce it in full and acknowledge me so that bits and pieces are not taken out of context or put with the work of others. If you or others do not agree  with what opinions I express, then approach me and discuss it rather than having it sent all over the world and misinformation bandied about as often is the case.  The information trail in wildlife caring is very mountainous and I would prefer that good reliable information is distributed rather than "hearsay" or "home Remedies" no matter how good they may be.

I have also had bitter experience of things being attributed to me, that some kind soul has taken, changed, modified and then distributed with my name on it. Unfortunately we are a critical, defensive  bunch of people and rather nasty things are often said of someone without them having a right of reply.  Please understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and ways of caring for wildlife and until we have a set 'perfect' way of doing things, it is important to take all information, analyse it, then use it to the best advantage of the animal, NOT the HUMAN.
